Remember Canon are releasing a new 70-200 at what looked like a stupid price - http://www.photography-forum.org/showthread.php?t=39712&highlight=canon+70-200
Looks like somebody got "real" about the prices on the new 70-200. Adorama are taking pre-orders at $2500 - much more realistic...

Nikon have done the same - the price has dropped rapidly from £2000 to £1650 retail.

Is that a good place to get lenses from? I guess they are cheaper than the UK market when you take in the exchange rate.

Yeah but take into account the shipping! To the UK the cheapest UPS rate is around $40.

Yep - there is the shipping and you might have to pay tax. I'm over there alot so to me it's a convenient way to save money. B&H Photographic are also good.
