I'm on my second week of my photography course and have been asked as homework to take a picture showing movement without blur.

Surely, if I was to take a picture showing movement it would blur cos I would need to set the shutter speed to slow to show the movement which would cause blur

Or does it simply mean take a picture of something moving e.g a car but with fast shutter speed to freeze the motion?

SOrry if this seems a dumb question but it really is just my 2nd week of my course...

They all show movement without blur.

I would have thought that the lecturer was asking for you to see if it was possible to give the impression of speed without blurring the subject or background.

Imagine if you had a girl with long hair on a bike but the bike is stationary and you used a fan to make it look like she was cycling so fast her hair was blowing out behind her. That photo would have no elements which are blurred due to speed/motion but would give the impression of motion.
