I'm looking and looking but I can't find concrete proof that this flash is compatible with my camera.

Anyone know?

Thanks, Kam

It is, all Nikon flash guns work with Nikon bodies.

Thank-you.

Does it need anything extra? I read somewhere about a matrix or something or other that has to be used with it. Is this correct or does it go straight on to the camera, just the camera and the flash, no extras?

Think someone has tried to confuse you cos the only matrix on a nikon is matrix metering and its already on the cam.

the flash is plug and play. Stick it on the hotshoe and flash away

Excellent, thanks for your help. I think it's all I need to get started. It seems to be a good little flash for a good price. I'll upgrade if this new venture goes well.
