How do I get my RAW images from my camera into Elements. I've just upgraded to E8, but whatever I do all I get is a message saying that there are no files to import. Elements recognises my camera, but isn't finding the files. What am I doing wrong?
Any help please?

I had the same problem. I think you have to install a camera raw plug-in, but I can't remember how I did it. Try this page:

Have you tried downloading and installing the latest version of Camera RAW? I don't know what version Adobe Elements 8 ships with, but it may have overwritten the current one you have with an older version.
The current one is http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4626 for Windows.
Have you tried copying the images to a folder in the computer and then working them in to Elements that way?

Sorted it, I think. Once I'd been into Control Panel and set up Autorun for downloads from my camera it seems to have worked. Not sure I want it to be that way, but if it has to be then it has to be!
Thanks for your suggestions; I'll bear them in mind when it goes wrong!
