Hi guys n Gals

I was out this morning taking some landscape shots at my local beach. While doing so I noticed sand getting all over the lens and camera body, at which I started to panic a bit so I didnt close up the zoom until i got home ot give everything a good brush down. This got me thinking... Are they any good tips and tricks to protect/take care of your equipment while working in these areas/conditions please? apart from the obvious.... Dont bury it..... dont let it go for a swim... etc etc:wacko:

the pro cameras and lenses are also quite resilient to dust and moisture, so should keep sand out I guess. Not that I'd be keen to test it!
