My updated site had a 'gallery under construction' page which has just been updated. I have a few ideas in my head and have just tried one of them out. It is only a prototype but would value your honest opinions please. Alan

Yes, an interesting way of showing your gallery. I am still wondering if I like it better than the conventional way of doing things. In particluar, I found it odd that the first picture had so much of its area covered up by image number 2. Perhaps a white edge to each of the images might be worth considering. I feel some of the images seem to blend into each other the way they are presented at the moment.

Of course that is just one opinion. What matters is whether you like it, and more important if your potential customers do.

Yup blending is a problem as far as I see it..

Perhaps one colour then one black/white and so on...

That's my ten pence worth.. :)

Its one of those - dont know why just dont like it.

Could it be that they all blend in together. Could it be the striking red. Could it be the scrap book feel. Dont know I just think they would look better laid out a seperate images.

Only my 10 pence worth

Al the same wedding I'm afraid, most taken over the shoulder of the pro. Will have to do until I get some more photos of my own to add - just wanted to give people an idea of the 'quality of image' that can achieved. Have two definite bookings (booking fees paid) and three more interested for this year, all know that this is my first season but like what they have seen. They also thought I was cheaper than the opposition so I guess that helped. I will just have to add more as I go. Now that's done I might start posting some of my other work on the forum for you to see. Thanks for all your help.

Looks good, easy on the eye. This is my 4th season as a wedding photographer, like you started with 5 first year, 14 then 24 last year, and so far 18 booked for this year, and 1 for 2007. 1 thing I would suggest is getting friendly with the owner of a wedding dress shop, find out from your clients where they got their dresses, then after the wedding show the shop that supplied the dress a nice 10x8 framed, chances are they will want a copy, helps to sell for them and you. Good Luck.
