Just spent today visiting a couple of venues exhibiting work from both Robert Mapplethorpe and Albert Watson. I found their images and respective techniques inspirational, to say the very least. An amazing day out. If anyones interested they are running at the following places.

Robert Mapplethorpe : Scottish Gallery of Modern Art, Belford Road, Edinburgh.
Running till 5th November

Albert Watson : Frozen City Art Centre, Market Street, Edinburgh.
Running till 22nd October.

Great exhibitions if you manage to get chance to see them :)

Hi Tony. Unfortunately the Mapplethorpe Exhibition is a one off in Scotland according to the Press Officer at gallery.
I've spoken with the City Art Centre re the Albert Watson, Frozen exhibition. They reckon it'll be moving down south but are going to call me in half an hour with details. Will let you know soon as :)

For sure Mate! Would love to meet up at some point. These are cracking exhibitions. I particularily liked the Watson one. His technique, the scale of his images and the colours are amazing.

All the best

Hi Tony, Unfortunately The Watson Exhibition is not coming to England but going straight to Europe after Edinburgh.

Best regards
