This is a multi-exposure pic. 5 exposures when the wind was blowing on the washing.

Well this is the only shot I have that remotely fits the criteria, and I'm only posting to avoid the wrath of Waif and Bindi!

David, that's a great looking effect!

Dear All,

Whenever I've entered these challenge threads (which I think is one of the best threads on the forum - one day I'd like to win though!), I've always stuck to the orginal rules posted by Barry - especially No 2:

2. All images must be taken for the specific subject within the 3 days...[of the competition].

Doesn't seem to be the case anymore and changes the ball park considerably. I always thought that this rule was the biggest chunk of the fun - had me pacing around racking my creative brains as opposed to searching the archives for something suitable.

Have I missed something?

Best Wishes Chris.

JBM,

I promise my point was not made at you - you clearly stated when it was taken and provided me the opportunity I've been seeking for a while. I just wanted to take the opportunity to remind the newer members what the orginial rules were and to genuinely ask whether there had been a change I missed.

Here's Barry's original post:

Hi, thought this could be a bit fun, but how about an instant challenge, a theme, an object, anything will be chosen at pure random to photograph (be something we all have access too), anything from a watertap to a garden flower). You have 3 days to find it, photograph it and post it, then it will be voted on in a poll and the winner can announce the next object/theme. Id rather have done it over 1 or 2 days, but realise that were not all on here all the time, and some of you have lives to live, so 3 days it is.

A thread will be created with the title INSTANT CHALLENGE (number), inside is the given subject, when it starts and when it finishes. Please post your IMAGE ONLY and your bit explantion etc, and only this. After the subject closes, i will create a poll for your to vote in (god willing and stemmy willing).

The Rules.

1. You will have 3 days (72 hrs from date on inital post) to post an image of the announced challenge.
2. All images must be taken for the specific subject within the 3 days (no old images, prescans from 1845 or anything from George's immense image storage tanks
3. When posting images, please do not comment on them, just post your image, your usual bit about it and nothing more (funnies allowed), but PLEASE no comments.
4. On day 4 a poll will be set up and require you to vote on your favorite, the poll will only be open for 72hrs , and 24 hrs after that, the winner announced and as a prize, they can choose the next subject/theme/object.
5. Please just ONE image per challenge per member
8. IF this works and the above made sense il eat my card reader.

I now want to see a photograph of Barry eating his card reader!!!!:-)
