Just wanted to put a good word in for one of the forum sponsors.
Ordered 4 gloss 12x8 and one gloss 8x6 (not a massive order I know!) prints from Ashtonphotographic today.
£1.95 for postage and came in at the grand sum of about £11.90 or summat.
Prints have always been spot on too.
And even tempting my bad luck, I'll prob get those tomorrow or wednesday.
No-one posts "my stuff came on time today" as a rule, so just wanted to share...

Hi Steve
last year our Tutor insisted we have our photos printed there and lots of us were VERY disappointed in the colour balance and the like. Some of us even had to have our stuff reprinted. At a fiver a print, if I have to do an assignment where its six prints, thats 30 quid out of my pocket. It makes no sense now for me not to use Dave and when I get back to Uni I WILL be using him for my printing.

I use sRGB, and I name the file "print_to_edges_on_12x8_gloss.jpg" and if I have a white border (as I do, with text underneath the image) I do all that myself, so the image is inchesx300 pixels by inchex300pixels size, 1:1 fit on the paper at 300DPI.

Had a free one off him with a comp win and it was top notch . Next day and it cost me nothing so I was / am most impressed .
Must have another look to see if he does canvas prints , tried before and the site was down . Forgot about it since then .

also, you won't see it on the site as a selection, but you can have pano prints 12inches high up to 36inches wide I think.
