It's finally arrived the Leica M8. Very tempting to raid the piggy bank.
Not the do all versatility of a dSLR but if it fits your type of photography; it does a lot of mine; it's got to be THE camera to lust for. If you've never used a real r/finder and Leica lenses you don't know what you are missing.

Body is £2990 for more details click on the detailed spec here

The DNG shooting at only 2fps with a buffer of 10 shots is a bit disapointing when compaired to the D200's NEF 5fps and 22 shot buffer but it's a lot better than the Digilux 2.

I'm very tempted with a 35mm f2 Summicron Aspheric it would be just over £4k at list prices........ maybe my chrissy pres to myself if there any deals going.

Tony, I was reading about it in this week's Amateur Photography. If you've got a big piggy bank get one for me too! Cheers Chris.

Chris,
Love your "all I look for.......". We once had a studio locally who advertised..."Specialising in children, weddings, portraits, commercial, pets, insura nce".....etc., and probably many more that I can"t remember.
