Here's one of my indispensable gadgets, a pair of L cards. These are given away by Fuji but you can make your own from card off cuts so long as you make sure they are square.

Anyone else got a simple indispensable gadget?

My wife hates this, but I have empty slide mounts in the car, in my pocket (they can make a mess in the washing machine!) for the same reason Barry.

Hold it close to the eye to simulate a wide angle lens, further awy to simulate a telephoto!
