I took these shots of an old winch in a churchyard - the obvious thing that I thought of was to convert them to B&W, but then I liked the deep red colour of the paint mingling with the rust - I'd be interested in what folks think of the best way to display them - Thanks Ian

Three small prints in one frame, the classic triptych. Thin black moulding would look nice or maybe a dark oak.
first pic on left, third one in centre and the second on the right.

Having now seen these I'd swop the outer images over, looks good tho.

Saw this, and while I was rendering some colour correction on the fishing programme, thought I'd have a play - two options. The first is just how I put it together, and the second is how I know I take things too far in colour sometimes. My way is always to go "all the way to 11", then back-off a bit. But, I thought I'd post in the hyper colour one, just in case.
It's all been lined up by eye, so sorry if some of the borders are too thin etc - but it's more the arrangement, colour balance (almost) and equal size that I was playing with.

Like the line-up with the dark frame rather than the way I did it, but not keen on the over saturation of the colours - Cheers Ian

Dug these out to show Karey something and re-read Ian's intro... what the heck is a winch doing in a church yard?????? Were all the locals over-weight?:yahoo:

You know, when I found the winch in the churchyard I never even thought about the incongruity! It was in a little churchyard by Furnas lake in the Azores - and made in Hull - so what was it doing there? who left it there? why didn't they come back for it ? Could make a plot for Inspector Rebus!!
