Any suggestions you might have to improve things a little would be appreciated.

This is the original shot but I tried "curves" in PSPX and it improved the contrast somewhat. Tried B&W, red filter seemed to be the most interesting effect. Sepia also looked interesting.

Great picture... but I find it has to many points of interest.
I find the tree and wall to the left distract from the line of trees on the right.
You may want to crop it to focus attention on the row of trees only

YES - that works.
It only introduces one subjet for the eye to behold.

I like the extra contrast with Dave's crop the best.

Dave's crop has gotten rid of that object on the left side and balances the subject better. Thanks and I like the deeper contrast, more "moody"

Glad you approved........... cropped it and straightened the horizon a touch..... auto levels sorted the colours and then darkened it a touch........ vignetted in 2 stages to darken the outer sections ..... cloned out the white bench and something else lurkin on the right hand side......... nothing much really.......... it was a good pic to start with:wave4:
