Hi all, been having a wee poke about and decided to join in. My name is darren, or daz to most people, I started photography around 3 years ago, and lost it for a while due to work and familly, I have just bought 30 odd rolls of film in an attempt to "get back into it" and will hopefully have my darkroom up and running again

Welcome to our merry throng.
I hope you get your enthusiasm working again.
I must say that moving to digital from film gave my personal interest a boost. The immediacy of the results.
Good Luck and "Enjoy"

Hi Daz,
Errm what is 'film' and, if you work in a dark room, how will you see your keyboard ? :)

Film is rolls of thin plastic coated in silver that store images some of us still use it, and like playing in the dark (only cause I cant get my old head round photoshop). By the way Hi Daz, we're quite friendly honest, some of us are a little mad, you'll some work out who.

cheersn for the welcome guys. I will get round to posting some images when I get some new ones to show, I might post a couple of old ones till then. As for digital, I have played about with it a little, but I never really got any excitement from it, although I do have a wee powershot G3 that I use. To be honest I find sitting in front of a pc editing a bit boring, I much prefer sitting in my sweaty, stinking darkroom getting my hands wet and getting a headache from the fumes :D
