Felt sorry for this poor lonely thread so might as well start the ball rolling!! :) Left this shot untouched and there are plenty of things to edit in it.. So let's see what comes of it..

thanks Tim, i wasnt going to try it because im wasnt sure if i could get away with it, but hey! :D And i quite like the ghost one too, its a lovely image to work with. I thought i'd better leave the chair on the right so it would balance out the image with the other chair on the left.

Youve edited out the rug thing dash - ive only just noticed! The only thing i would say is that you can see where youve cloned it , i find the heal tool very good when editing out unwanted bits it just helps to blend it back in to the surroundings, so to speak.

Here is my attempt, changed into b/w and did some small cloning. Sorry just say the bag on the right... should have taken that out....

I like the removal of that mat Dash.. And with a bit more time, blending it better... Like the 3rd image George.. Nice border.. Wish I'd spotted that damn bag on the day.. Would save a bit of hassle! Gonna wait for a few more attempts then post the image I did for the couple...

Those cloud photos are fantastic, well done Kirsty, taken a plain image and given it the wow factor.

Hi Tim
I really like Kirsty's cloud pic, think she's got the right idea with something like this.
That burnt out background makes it virtually impossible to get an accurate image out of this. A tip for doing these shots, set the camera on manual to record the outside correctly and then set the flash on auto to the same aperture or +1EV if the church is dark without any reflective areas near by. You should get a balanced exposure.

Like what you've done with the sign Kirsty and like those colours Matt.. It was near Orleans in France.. And they loved the final pic.. Have it as a big 20x16.. Kirsty can I send them a small print of your sky shot as a present?.. I'll let them know who did it and the story..

Kirsty
6th February 2006, 09:58 PM

Tim
7th February 2006, 07:08 PM
Cheers Kirsty.. Yeah they paid and put me up for 4 days .. I'm lucky enough to get about 4 weddings a year abroad. Last year was France, Spain, Italy and New York.. Got 2 already for December in Spain so fingers crossed I'll get some more.. :)
