I find myself being drawn to a few favourite spots. This happens at all times of the year and in almost all weathers. I have lots of pictures of the same place or thing, but keep going back for more. Anyone else have a favourite spot, and would like to reveal it to the forum ?

Just to start off, here is one of my favourite locations. A spot up by the moors between Glasgow and Eaglesham. Must have about 20 pictures of this tree and keep going back for more. This was taken a bout a week ago just as the sun was setting.

Another picture of the same tree, taken on a cold damp day last December. Don't ask me where the guy at the right hand side of the picture was going !

This is an abandoned foundry on the edge of Cannock Chase, I keep going back as it's slowly falling down with a bit of help from the weather and vandels.

The old lead mines at Snailbeach south of Shrewsbury. Lead has been mined here since Roman times, these buildings mostly are 19th cent. The old spoil heaps have been covered over since the county council took the site over as they thought visitors may get lead poisoning. Health and Safety!! line up for your cottonwool. http://www.wedding-photography.org/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Where I also do some Night shooting....

These images... 200 iso... 30 seconds exp... Orignally in colour
but with the villages near by it's a bit orange...
