I know we have the dates & places sections, but would it be possible to have a section for locations sorted by either city or county?

I think it would help both newcomer and seasoned pro to find a specific location for a specific kind of shoot. I know that I for one struggle to find interesting locations. Especially now the rain seems to be here to stay, it would be great to know different indoor locations to shoot.

Take Glasgow for example, anyone visiting the city will go to the obvious places...the cathedral, the royal, the necropolis the botanical gardens. Not knowing that just to the north of the city we have the most gorgeous wee cobbled streets, the perfect place for a camera (if the rain ever stops that is). Or indeed, Pollok park with Pollok House and the Burrell collection, or Hogganfiled Loch.

Just an idea...:)

Its a good idea...but as we have so many members where do you stop....

a lot of people in the past have asked for idea's on what to shoot in their area's and other members have always been more than happy to oblige by offering up their favourite places...

It is a nice idea, but with everyone spread so far and wide it would get pretty massive quite quickly.

Maybe a 'Sticky' thread somewhere to for people to post their question in.

So, if you are planning a trip somewhere, you post in the thread and await the answers!

Another problem would be that I might not find anything interesting in my area that someone else might. I go out to the same old places hoping to see something different but I don?t so I go out even further. Like another state.
