Yes the first picture has a scan reflection down the left hand side.

My comments.

Took me a while to get into the site. I thought you had just done a homepage. Maybe link everything to get into the site or have an ENTER button.

The background is a bit busy for me (Im a simple person) I would go with a plain background.

The navigation page is a bit (thinking - thinking - thinking - thinking) I dont know what it is but it needs simplifying somehow. Dont know if its the font or the layout.

Definitley loose the phone graphic. I hate clipart.

There seem to be loads of different clours. Two clours on your web max.

Your images are great though (especially the rallying pics) and they load quickly.

Not 100 % sure about the borders you have put on them. They remind me of your school photographs. just a simple or maybee a sloppy border would work better.

tidied it up a bit, and sorted out the front page picture, it would appear that my scanner is shot. Better?

Yes a lot better.

The website is always to the left had side with space over to the right.

I think this is something you can change but dont ask me how.

The page with the cars on is a different colour to the rest . It looks a bit odd.

Keep tweaking, thats the way to do it (sound like punch & judy !!)

impressions:

welcome page is ok, text is suitable but not amazing.

page2, messy text, needs work on the layout, why are some of the links bigger than others?

portraits page has nice images but putting a 1px frame around them will bring out the contrast more.

all in all good images, back to the drawing board as far as the sites concerned.

The large links are wedding businesses, the other two are ones that I was forced to include. when I upgrade my PC (clockwork at the moment) and software, and get the time to practise I'm sure it will improve.

it would work well with a minimal design (frames for layout) and concentrating mostly on the images with the 1px black border around them. dont try and make it look like other photographers, make it look clean.

thank you for your constructive crit. but I take offense at your suggestion that I am trying to copy other photographers, I look at other sites for inspiration yes but copy NEVER
