Hi George,

I went on holiday to Charlone-Sur-Seone the birthplace of photography and found the museum facinating. It was strange to look out the window that the first recorded image ever captured (and "fixed") was housed. The French government bought the patent then made it public - the rest as they say - is history.

However on looking at you link I found this: http://sco.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photographie

Could not belive what I was reading!!!

Glaswegians of the world unite - but it is not Scots. Funny thing language, or should that be dialect?
