Actions

In one of the other threads (Separating Pictures) Tony mentioned creating an Action to add borders to muliple images.

[Deep breath, stands up in circle of anonymous others,] "I'm Robbie, I don't know how to create an Action"

Can anyone tell me if this is possible with PS Elements 2? If so, could you post a tut on how to set up an action, please?

from what I'm reading, you can use actions in elements but they have to be created in photoshop-

I don't know if elements can create actions - never used it.

Please let me know - if it cant ill happily create you an action on your specifications that you can then drop into elements to run later.

You cannot create actions in Elements. There are limited ways, however, that they can be used:

Hey Robbie,

I have an action for resizing and adding a border especially for the forum!

It is a PS CS2 action, so there is a way of saving it and sending it to you, or I can save as a droplet - I don't know if you can transfer droplets from CS2 into Elements.
