By coincidence Tony, I just bought a new Epson this very afternoon.
Not that model though because I can only afford cheapy stuff.
Got a DX 5000 all in one. Been playing about with it for a couple of hours now and so far I'm quite pleased with it's performance.
It prints direct from camera or memory card and the results are very acceptable. My prints are only for family viewing these days and not for exhibiting.

Well Tony I received my R1800 yesterday after a lot of ifing and aming and think it is execellent! I have been trying various photos and it really does a great job. It is 10 times quieter than the old photo 1200 and can print a A3 in half the time the 1200 would print an A4. Though next I have got to get some roll paper and print out one of my panos. That will test it!
