Treasure Hunt!

Ok guys and gals...here is the list for the treasure hunt...I tried to keep it as simple as possible so that everyone has a fair chance of getting all the pics together in the alloted time...the list is below...

Car
Water
Silhouette
Fire
A telephone
Something Red

There are 6 items (okay the silhouette isn't technically an item) on the list for you to photograph you need to find and photograph at least 5 of these items....6 would be great and I am sure that having all 6 will add brownie points when it comes time for us to vote....

The rules are as follows...


You have a week to find and photograph the items.
New images only please.
Be as artistic as you like.
The subjects are open to your personal interpretation, but it must be recognisable as one of the list items.
Items cannot be combined into one photograph.
Once you have your images post them in this thread and I will post a poll at the weeks end.

Hi all!! I did a "first" and tried bowling Friday night. I took my p&s camera w/ me thinking maybe I could combine this challenge and the challenge of throwing a heavy ball at some pins. I actually had fun!!! Anyway here are my pix from the bowling alley. The sillouette only counts as half cause I took it in the parking lot and it's not *really* a sillouette. So, I guess I am sending 5 1/2 pix. I would've put them up sooner, but was out of town w/ no internet. Enjoy!!!

They did think the water one was funny and couldn't figure out why the toilet was so clean in a bowling alley.:Dm

It's working both ways Karey, I'm having to recheck what I do to make sure what I tell you is correct rather than rely upon my memory or current work methods. It's a bit like driving, the more you do the more likely you are to pick up bad habits.
Now goes to find builder to widen the tops of all the doors :wave4::wave4:

Hi Bindii, thanks very much for your reply.. dont know about the poll, as you say may have missed greater part of it (goodness folks vote very early, dont they?)..but it's anyway a feeling of achievement to have even got them posted.. wanted so much to rise to the challenge.

I was going to suggest at beginning of next treasure hunt if we could have a few more days extra next time, especially if we have as many subjects again to find, as wasn't always evident for me to get decent shots I was satisfied with regarding the subjects in the given time.. probably because I'm not as experienced as many others here.

I wondered if the problem of time had been the same with some others.. as many more than the ones that posted their photos in the 7 days expressed interest in doing the Treasure hunt initially.. but didn't.. maybe they were pressed for time also..??
