Liquify problem

Suddenly my liquify filter takes forever to load, after loading it takes ages to visualize the stroke I made, making it guesswork if I need this filter. Was wondering if anyone had any similar behavior with their liquify?

my liquify is always slow to load, but I accept it as maybe it's a big file and taking a lot of memory. I find it a useful filter. I can flatten tums and bums plus, where needed, I can enlarge boobs. i have done this and either I have had praise, or no comment which tells me that the client sees themself through rose-tinted spectacles and thinks this is what they really look like. Who knows? What do others think?

I use this filter so much on my retouching, the perfect digital surgeon. It suddenly just stopped behaving like it used to and went very slow on me. It´s not only the filter loading, but the actual performance of the filter itself that is driving me crazy.
