I am having a play with something a bit different - I have light lines going up the stalk of the tulips on the left hand side. I dont think I had my light set up right - but wondered if this is mendable???

Its only the third stalk in from the left that is bothering me - where the pink/red tulip is behind you can see lines each side of the stalk.

Make it a learning exercise and go get it right in camera.
You'll be a better photographer for it.

I think that it's rim light overspill from the background Jen, too much light coming back off the background. Can be sorted by either increasing the distance between subject and background or dropping the background lighting power. In PP I guess very careful cloning or selection and clone would do it but it's a lot of aggro to go to.

If you can't reshoot it? Try a duplicut layer and clone? or dodge/burn?

Thank you guys :) I bought a white reflector board (hard card from the range! lol) and stood it behind the tulips - the vase was about 2 foot in front and I had a speedlite aimed at the card from the left of the flowers and used another speedlite on camera bounced off ceiling. Otherwise I was getting shadows.
are they really really bad??

Clone stamp would do it , but you would have to work small !
As said your best option would be to reshoot if you can .

No not that bad . I were looking at the two to the left of it to be honest as they show more .

OK I will re shoot it - but not tonight, batteries are going in one of my speedlites and I have to wait forever for the green light! Presume its batteries???

In the meantime I have found a way of mending it in photoshop! Here you go

are you sure it's there in the RAW Jen? Looks like contrast/clarity halo to me?

They actually dont bother me - I honestly think its a nice shot and processing
I even like the colour popping one

But if they bother you...as Barry said...

How about this Jen, I zoomed in to 500% to get lose enough, worked on a duplicate layer, and just did the fix with a small clone brush (4 pixels wide) and tidied the joins with a small blur brush. I only did the 3 stalks on the left.

It's not that bad Jen and you're getting to nit picky over your own work which we all prone to at times.

lol it's really not much of a problem. its a nice shot.

it looks like a bit of light spilling from the background light rather than light bouncing off the background. Could just be the angle or positioning of the light but for me its not an issue at all.

Thank you guys, think I was being a bit picky! :)
