I am relatively new to this game, does anyone have a magic formula for pricing up wedding packages?
I am finding it really difficult, I have looked at other wedding photographers sites at the prices, but I am wondering how they arrive at these prices.
It will be my first wedding that i have to price-up.

There are plenty more experienced wedding togs on this forum than me....but seeing as they havent gotten around to replying to your post yet I thought I would have a bash at it...:)

Are you trying to work a price out for a business....as in are you starting a wedding photography business?.....or are you trying to work out a price for a friend?

Either way though before you can work out a price you need to decide how many prints, albums etc that you are going to have to purchase and add up how much that stuff is going to cost you for starters. Then you need to take into account how many hours that you will put in shooting the wedding...then how many hours in post proccessing...ordering prints...collecting and assembling albums etc All these tasks add up in time...and time is money...

I'm sure this has been covered in depth several times, try the forum search using something like 'pricing weddings'.
