I have my A3+ and laser porinters and dye sub BUT I need to do CDs/DVDs

I am sure someone here must have either a Canon or Epson CD printer.

Advice on model please and colour quality needed

Thanks

Try the search function, this was discussed not so long back and you yourself comment over prefering labels to direct printing on cd's :)

Labels break DVD players so print on disc is the only way

Any of the Epson 'Photo R' range are cheap and have a CD printing drawer. Inks are expensive if you want High Qulaity but for CD's/DVD's 3rd party inks are sufficient.

Agree with oldgeezer, the Epson Photo R range are great. I have been using my Photo R200 for printing directly onto CD/DVD discs the last 8 or 9 years and never once had any issues. I dont think you can get the R200 any more, but I'm sure its replacement would be fine.

The replacement doesn't do CD printing which I find bloody frustrating. I have used my Photo 200 for years with no problem until I used windows 7. After some hair pulling, of which I cannot afford to do now, I found un-installing the printer driver and next time i fire the printer up Windows 7 installs a driver automatically and now works a treat.
Jeremy, I see they do printers just for CD's & DVD's but looking at the price are a bit steep..................

This is the cheapest Epson that will print on DVDs I'm afraid.
