uploading pictures

Anyone else having problems today in uploading pictures via the "manage attachment" button?
I've been trying for hours to upload a message with picture attachment.
My pictures are jpeg, 600 x 400 and only 80kb in size so theres no problem there.
When I click on "Upload" I just get message This page cannot be displayed.
I don't want to go to the trouble of sending everything to Photobucket first.
I had a lot of same problems when I first joined the forum but when Stemmy changed to a new service provider, the problem ceased immediately.
Just wondered if it is only on my computer or are you having the same trouble.
As you can see, there is no trouble sending a message. Just the pictures.
All other internet sites are fine.

Martin might have turned on the

"Don't let the old git post any photos" filter....

I've posted some just now and it was ok for me..

"Page cannot be displayed" error doesn't sound
like a filter or a forum error...

Still having lots of trouble uploading pics.
(This one for some reason loaded first time.)
It is the message I get when clicking on the upload button in Manage Attachments. (This is the Firefox message. IE6 says Page can't be displayed)
I downloaded Firefox to try a different explorer but it's just the same.
Network connection OK
Firewall OK.
Pictures resized to sometimes only 20kbs. and still won't upload.
Bags of space and memory
Been sending OK for months now but!!!!!! what.
Every now and again a picture will load first time even if it is a larger size so I don't know where to go from here.
No trouble sending the message, It's just the picture problem.
I would be grateful if anyone could give me advice.
If I am the only one having this problen then obviously I have got a fault.

Hi Eowyn,
No I haven't changed anything but I have a feeling that maybe something could have altered with one of the Microsoft updates which automatically download every day.
If thats the case then I haven't a clue how to sort it out.
What kids me is that on odd occasions it works fine and I post one or two pics in one session then it will give up the ghost whilst I am still working on it.
I have to shut the forum down with ctrl alt delete. Then I can not get the forum site to open again although every other site is fine. Sometimes its an hour before it will open again, but still won't send any pics.
If I upload pics to Photobucket and then send them back to the forum then they will upload OK but I don't want to mess about like that every time.
Thanks for your interest and if you think of anything else it might be I would be grateful to hear.
