Hi all, Logged in 3 weeks ago but being a techno know no it's taken me this long to figure out what a thread is!
I'm usually a happy snapper and hoping to improve on this with my recent purchase of a digital SLR.
However, with my computer illiteracy and busy family life it may well be many moons B4 I am able to ask for a critique of my snaps.
I would be most grateful however for tips on taking photo's in the snow.
Avoiding blue snow and sillhouetes of my two boys would be good.
Cheers.

Hi King.

Welcome to the forum. It is nice to hear from you. Rather than re-inventing the wheel by giving you hints from my own experience, I have listed a few links below which are internet sources covering the problem you mention. Hope that helps you get started, but I am sure you only need to yell out and the real experts on this forum will help out. Don't be afraid to ask, .... we all learn that way :)

It's a konica minolta 5d.
Lot's of features which are reletively easy to use with practice.
Howevever, being a novice I'm still taking lots of duff images despite all the technology!

I am not a DRUNK.
I am by nature a loud, friendly, clumsy person.

TIPS FOR SNOW PHOTOGRAPHY:

Stay by the fire and read a book on "How to take Photos in the Snow"

Don't eat the yellow snow

When your fingers look blue - go home.

Just about sums up my experience.

Welcome to the forum - you WILL finmd more constructive than this I promise.
