Getting an amazon list together and was wondering if these books were any good? Or can you suggest anything better? :)

You know Ross...I am not so familar with any of these books..but I do know that over the years I have spent a small fortune on different photography books and mags...yet I feel I learnt far more from studying other peoples pics...taking my own and asking loads of questions...:)

Oh without doubt I've learned far more from the likes of you, George, Tony, Barry and Chris than I have from any of my books, which is very cool of all you guys! :clapping:

These were merely for a wee bit of background knowledge, but I'll also be delving into the forum archives and spamming my attempts for all to see too. :)

I'm never sure about books... Yes when I get my studio
and Photo tour business I'll have loads of books and mags for
visitors to read but I'd never read them myself...

With magazines you can get all the info, certainly
the basics....
