Now I have the new Domain name

www.photography-forum.org (http://www.photography-forum.org)

I was thinking there should be a new title to the forum.

Any ideas from the arty people on the forum.

It would have to include Photography Forum in it and preferably on a white background.

Any help appreciated.

Not sure about the tartan ???

But I like the idea of the in/out text.

How have you done it ?

What do you think.

Dennis I was looking for changes with the new software. When you post a message there is now a spell checker in the right hand top corner - above the smilies.

Now that will be Handy.

Not surprised you didn't like the tartan.... Fife police force tartan as far as I can remember ! Bring back bad memories ?

The entire banner was done as a joke. Regarding the text, it looks as if you have found out how it was done, but here is how it was done in Photoshop 6

Dont know what you mean.

Cant you see the attachment section at all ??

if you cant there might be a button that says "Go Advanced" when you are writing a post hit that and it should appear"

if not let me know the exact problem.

piticu
17th February 2006, 02:54 PM
yes there is a "Attach Files" section as usual but it only contains "Valid file extensions: avi bmp doc exe gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd scr txt zip" only.

I wanted to make a print screen to show u :))

Stemmy
17th February 2006, 03:13 PM
Above that list of file names should be the section to upload pictures.

It should look like this below.

To do screen grab search the forum for "Screen Grab" and there is a link to a program to do this for you.

piticu
17th February 2006, 08:10 PM
true. but for now i do not have the button that open the windows you show me. weird.
screen grab: i have a button on my keyboard which does the job, i do not need any program for this :)

So the whole section below the message box is missing is it ?

The sections can be minimised if you have the section called Additional options then it might need expanding.

piticu
18th February 2006, 09:58 AM
the section "additional option" is there, so is the "attach files" subsection. only the clickable button "manage attach" is missing :( anyway there's no big deal, my logo does not worth all this time spent :) ill send it to u monday, by mail, k?

Stemmy

I have changed the way you view the message box - hopefully it might have sorted the problem. Keep me posted.

Hi Martin, I had a problem with the attachments, I had to use IE6 :diablo: to solve it.

A comment on most of the logos so far, far too fussy. :orc:

Zapfino Extra is the name of the font. I own it in OpenType format but i'm sure you cand find it in tt format at Linotype (http://www.linotype.com/6-2326-6/zapfinoextra.html) website.

Unfortunately the licence does not allow me to zip it and email it to you :) Sorry

i've just browsed the site and got a bitter taste. i'm sure that every pro who deals with fonts will use, let's say, anna and not adresack font.

What you mean? the fonts are not legally there?
:help:

Or legal fonts renamed?

piticu
23rd February 2006, 12:34 PM
the difference is the same as from a wedding photo session made by a pro, as you or anyone else here, and a wedding package sold with 100 euros by a kiddo with a compact camera. both are legal :D

Nice - I like the first and the last one Choogs.

Maybe it should be put to the vote. Its the communities forum so maybe they should choose the style.

Am I setting myself up for a fall here ?

Its funny but with the new spellchecker section I be there arnt many people with "Choogs" added to their dictionary.
