Hello everyone, Im Anna.
I am 27, and Ive recently moved to the UK. When I say recently, its been nearly a year now ( May of 2005) but Im still really settling. I was born in Ohio, in the United States, but spent most of my life in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Lets see..photography. I began when I was 21, discovering my 'eye' accidently while waiting to be picked up to go to a concert. I didnt start doing it constantly until 2003, which is when I bought my first digital, which was a poorly sony cybershot - but that camera proved to me, at least.. that it isnt the camera, its the person behind it. Though I will admit..you can be excellent with a piece of kit, but the better that kit is the more it will compliment you. Which is why Im thrilled to have gotten a Canon Eos 350d for my birthday..excellent piece of kit. ( Incidently, I still h ave my trusty cybershot..just cant get rid of it. memories lol)
Im hugely interested in doing moody, emotive portraits with popping colours, textures, or raw black and white. I also enjoy architecture, some landscape and nature. I love childrens photography, and Ive been doing a lot of Still Life and product work (nothing for companies, just practicing with coke cans and the like) and I find I really enjoy it. I would Love to meet some likeminded photographers and discuss the craft, or even get in front of thier lenses..as Ive been modeling for myself since 2003 and Id like to see the difference in perspective and skill.
But enough about that. If anyone has any questions for me, ask away . I love answering questions..you should see me with questionaires.
