The are just designs for my fine art unit 7 - exam piece- trying to keep the flow of my unit 4- theme of gravestones/headstones, flowers and newspaper - when i get the chance i will scan in my final pieces from unit 4.

Thanks guys- i was leaning more towards the firs image too, the b&w one is a bit too harsh for me- but it will do nicely for development in my sheets

Its from where I lassood the selection- the background trees.

I might be tempted to clone those out.

I know you wanted the shadow area to go with the figures but you could cut tight around the figures then add a drop shadow afterwards.
