3 months is my longest time span - you win hands down
One couple split before the end of the honeymoon - surprisingly I didn't get any reprints from them at all!
Cheers

Two years was the longest we had before getting the order for the album, several over a year. Infact it got so common for a year to pass we introduced a clause into our terms that any order placed nine months after the date of the wedding may be subject to a surcharge if our suppliers had increased prices. :yahoo:
What can you do about those who don't come back? I've still got several who have not even given me the details for their album, which they have paid for, one is now over 5 years old and another 7 years.
In this day and age with over 50% of marriages failing I let sleeping dogs lie. :exit:

Well I can beat you all, I think.
I don't do people photos, but over the years have been talked into doing some family wedding photos. Three nieces and a grand niece so far. One niece was married 16 years ago, and has never got back to me about the album. She is still married to the same very nice chap. I see them every week or so, so they still seem to be on speaking terms with me :mad2: :dizzy:
Also have another grand niece booking for 2007, so hoping to pick up lots of good tips here

The longest I have been made to wait has been about 5 months. As a matter of interest do you guys ask for your final payment when you deliver the proofs to the B&G or when you get their final order for the album?

With me the only way to book is with 20% deposit and balance two weeks prior to wedding. I have never had complaints. The longest I've waited for a wedding album choice of repritns (piad in advance obviously) is about 15 monhts which demonstrates my point about payment in advance. All thoughts of things to do with the weddding lose importance after the event, even their own album which is paid for. So get your money up front, they thank me for removing things they have to think about running up to the big day.
