I have a Jobo GIGA ONE (40GB) - this works perfectly with my desktop and my old laptop pc via USB. The desktop is running xp home the laptop xp-pro

I have a new laptop and the problem with this is that it does not see the hard drive in the Giga One (it does see any cards plugged into the Giga One though). On the other PC's the Giga One shows as a separate drive "Swissnife".

I have posted a message to Jobo support (some time ago) and received no response. HAs anyone else hit this issue and if so have they been able to resolve it?

Thanks

I know XP Pro can have erratic compatibilty problems which cause headaches from time to time (Vista can be worse).

If you know the Jobo worked fine on XP try running the compatibilty wizard and get it to run the Jobo software as if it were on an XP platform.

You could also try and check the device manager to see if there are any problems with the Jobo programs, drivers etc... If there are, uninstall and then reinstall the software. Sometimes this helps.

Hope this helps.
