get your butts in here...

The subjects for this treasure hunt have been set by StuG who was the winner of the last hunt...which I might add was terribly disappointing since only two of you decided to enter...so this is the tester...if we don't get enough entires this time around I will have to scrap it I think...which would be a pity as I know that a few of the members have really enjoyed competing in it...

So get your camera's out and your thinking caps on...

Ok guys and gals...here is the list for the treasure hunt...

The season
A Portrait
Relaxation
A Mono
A Building
A Houshold Object

There are 6 items on the list for you to photograph you need to find and photograph at least 5 of these items....6 would be great and I am sure that having all 6 will add brownie points when it comes time for us to vote....

The rules are as follows...

You have 10 days to find and photograph the items.
New images only please.
Be as artistic as you like.
The subjects are open to your personal interpretation, but it must be recognisable as one of the list items.
Items cannot be combined into one photograph.
Once you have your images post them in this thread and I will post a poll at the weeks end.

On your marks....

ready...

set...

That would be a real shame and the last one I did was the first - I'm ashamed. So I've really made an effort to enter this time. I hope lots of others do too...because I would not like to win with these :-)

Chris

PS You might guess that I'm not counting on the ladies votes :-)

I'm on school holidays so I've had time to collect a few pictures for the treasure hunt.
Maybe if the hunt was limited to 3-4 items or the challenge was to make two items into one picture it might make it easier for the time challenged people.

So here's my entry madam Bindii
My morning coffee, an over used household object
seasons went to the beach yesterday, but it was a little cold for swimming.drifting away, weather good for relaxationtook both these shots without moving my arse from my towel, (the hidden tog is my eldest)
a mono still haven't unpacked from last weekend, I'll not bother now I'm off again this weekend!
a building St Peter & Pauls
A portrait only got this shot of her because I promised she could have the good air bed camping this weekend.

Hope the competition continues after this one.
Unfortunately I can't take part at the moment as in recovery from broken thumb and can't yet hold camera and focus properly... sorry Bindii..

Well here's my entry!
I enjoy these. Having to come up with the shots makes me think about what I'm doing, to experiment a bit, and in the process improve my photography.

Okay sorry it has taken me so long to post the poll for this one guys...but as you would be aware I have been stuck on dial up service and it was just too slow to get the poll happening...it was timing out when I tried..lol So I am doing this from work....

Anyways we got 4 entries this time around..hopefully next time we might get a few more of you giving it a go...

But for now can you please vote for who you think took the best images for the 'treasure'....its not going to be easy this time round me thinks....as the entries that we do have are all very good...

Poll closes in 5 days...so get voting!
