Photo Festival at Calumet Manchester
Fujifilm Professional is joining forces with Light & Land Photographic
Tours to hold a seminar and exhibition at the forthcoming event at
Calumet Manchester on Tuesday 24th April.
The seminar and exhibition will be part of the five-day Photo Festival
that Calumet is holding to celebrate the opening of its newly
refurbished branch at Unit 4, Downing Street Industrial Estate, Manchester.
The seminar takes place between 2pm and 4pm when renowned photographer
Charlie Waite will talk about his personal approach to the art of
landscape photography in a seminar entitled 'Seeing landscapes'. Following
Charlie Waite's seminar, David Ward will host a talk 'A return to
beauty' where he will discuss his search for beauty in landscape photography.
The cost for each seminar is £10 (plus VAT), for booking information
please contact Calumet on 0161 274 4455.
The exhibition, entitled 'Eyes to Wonder', opens to the public at 6pm
and runs until 9pm. It features a series of stunning images taken by
Light & Land workshop participants from various tours around the world
from Norway to California and from Cuba to Iceland. Admission to the
exhibition is free and the first 100 customers through the door will receive
a complimentary goodie bag.
The event will also be the first opportunity for photographers to
receive information on the soon-to-be-re-launched Fujichrome Velvia 50.
