Hi all -

My name is Matt Lit and I'm located in Keystone Colorado.

I own a studio and specialize in shooting Lifestyles of people on location. What that means is I shoot anything people! I earn most of my income from "wedding photojournalism" and portraiture. Given the opportunity (and the right amount of money!) I shoot people for advertising and editorial markets, as well. www.LITfoto.com

I used to shoot mostly commercially and really fell in to shooting weddings. I moved toward weddings and portraits once I realized I was working with people who appreciate my work, are willing to pay for it AND willing to pay-in-full BEFORE they receive any work! Now with my studio, I'm doing more and more work under lights!

My photographic fun and spirit are captured with a Holga Toy Camera now. Visit www.LITfoto.com/holga to see what that's all about! I shoot with this for "fine-art" images. I scan them and reproduce them as huge giclees. But I now use it for shooting commercial jobs, weddings, portraits and in the studio! Imagine, a $300 Pocket Wizard on a $17 plastic camera running a bunch of studio lights!

I am also a photo-educator and have been teaching photography for 10 years at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge.

Thanks for the space Martin!

Hi Martin - thanks for the response...

As for the Toy Camera, just check out that section of my website! I have one explanation to any of my clients interested in this style of photography: I can not and will not guarantee that a) the film/pictures will turn out and b) that they will like them! Pretty cool, huh?!

"So, for more money, I can shoot your pictures with a plastic toy camera, and you're going to love the pictures I get...or...you won't...oh, and they may not turn out and I can't guarantee the results!"

Seriously, I've the above is true...but I've gotten really good at consistently producing images with the Holga. Also, it's a secondary method of capture at any job I shoot with it.

You'll find further links from my Holga page - or just do a Google search for "Holga" or "Toy Camera" and you'll find tons of information.

Cheers!
