Posted this last November but thought I would not be able to make it this year however I can so here are the details.
April 21st at Silverstone, the VSCC opener. It's one I try not to miss. You can get on the pit wall and also stroll around the pits, a very relaxed day out.
You don't need a particularly long lens, a 70- 200mm is more than enough, if fact off the pit wall it's too much.

and some of my shots from last year here...

Hi Tony,

Really interesting, & just looked through your photos from last year & they are great, giving an excellent idea of what looked a superb day, thanks.

Can I be nosey & ask how much it would cost to go for a day like that please? I have never been, but have always wanted to go there & have a look.

Phil

Hi Phil, An inexpensive days motor sport £10 for the day. Practice in the morning and 10 races in the afternoon. General catering is a bit basic and expensive or the padock resturant is excelent and bl**dy expensive. i've give up going to F1 meetings, expensive and boring racing. VSCC is much more laid back and interesting.
