Both really nice shots..The first being my fav.. just a shame the sky is blown and I would have got a little more central in the road...Try and experiment with angles as said before getting down low thinking about how you frame the shot.. and I like the way you have framed the second with the branches think it could do with a touch more contrast... you definitely have an eye for an image its just working on the little things!

I had a play and tried to make it a bit more mystic not sure if this is what has happened thou.

Okay I got to work on the other one. I used the burn tool to bring out some texture in the sky then cloned in som grass and cleaned up the edges a little with removal of some sticks.
Then I went into filters/texture/grain and played with it some more to get this.
