D700 help

Got my D700 today but there appears to be a fault with it, when i put it to auto rotate and take a picture in portrait it still comes out on it's side, i have a D300 and it works fine for that. is this a know fault or have i got a duffer!!

Have you changed the 'auto rotate tall' setting?

false alarm, i just had a careful look at the instructions and all i needed to do was set rotate tall in the playback menu, pretty stupid of me thank you for your help
