    Battery Charging.

    My first post!
    G'Day All,
Found a useful gadget in my local camera shop recently, a charger with a 12V
plug to use in a vehicle, for BP-511 batteries to suit the 20D. This gadget is made by a company called "Inca"(I never heard of them before). I hope this info is of some use to people who spend a lot of time in vehicles like me.
    Cheers
    Rob

    Yes Ive seen these.

I always have 2 batteries in the camera and 4 spares to go with it. The pressure is slightly off now with the 5D as it comes with a battery cage that allows it to be used with AA batteries.

A good addition to the camera bag.

the 30D has a similar cage - a useful addition for those "oh heck" moments - although I seem to got through the batteries for the 1DS at an alarming rate. the 30D seems to last far longer.

the D200 also has such a holder for 8-AA batteries tho I've not had cause to use it as the two batteries in the grip are good for over 600 RAW images which is usually more than enough.

'Comes with a battery cage'?? I didn't get anything like that with my 5D. Do you mean it is available as an accessory or was it actually in the box with the camera?

The battery cage comes with the battery grip.

Sorry for any confusion. I dont think there is one that fits the camera itself.
