as a student photographer i rely on asking models to work for images alone as i struggle with cash most see it as a way to get portfolio images without paying a photographer i have not advertised myself as a photographer for work as i am still at NQ level and therefor if i got work would be taking it away from pro's with more experience which would not be fair

Thanks for this! There isn't enough encouragement for artists, or even just for people to go out and follow their dreams, whatever the occupation.
