Nikon have done the same - the price has dropped rapidly from £2000 to £1650 retail.

Looks like somebody got "real" about the prices on the new 70-200. Adorama are taking pre-orders at $2500 - much more realistic...

I'm so glad I didn't rush out and buy one for £2000 like a lot of the "must have " bregade![]()
Yep - there is the shipping and you might have to pay tax. I'm over there alot so to me it's a convenient way to save money. B&H Photographic are also good.
I'll still plod on with the f4![]()
The perfect photograph has never been captured but I will chase this elusive dream even if it takes me 1/60 sec.
