    sunbeams and long shadows

hi guys, this photo was my first attempt at hdr (which ive decided to use for practice). ive been looking for a technique in cs5 to try and accentuate the sunbeams, i'd also like to darken the long shadows. i have tried using a layer mask to make sunbeams like many youtube videos suggest, but as you can see that didn't turn out very well, is there a way to accentuate sunbeams at all?

the long shadows you should be able to increase with curves.
The rays you have improved quite a bit. The start point is very bright though.
The flare spots could use cloning out IMHO.

thanks for the tips tenchy, had a fiddle with curves, the shadows seem a little more pronounced now. clone stamped the lens flare too.
