What Tripod?

Hello ,

I film horse racing events (Point to points) and i need height to film , i normally film from a commentators stand which is about 5 metres high the problem is there isnt always space up there and i need a more permanant soloution .
Are there any tripods in 3 figures that reach that kind of height and what ones?
I dont mind if i need a stepladder or if i control it from the ground.

Could you use a monopod ? I have I nice monopod that has a fluid head and foot on it

Why dont you use a clamp on a stepladder or 2 stepladders and clamp camera to one and maybe some sandbags on the btm to stabilize it, to be honest at that height I would be getting Health and safety demanding scaffolding

I've only ever seen tripods at about 6 feet max. Not sure if you can get extensions to raise it a bit higher but I don't think you'll get one to go to 15/16 feet.
