Quite a few use them. I think Chaz and Paulmag use them on their canons
I used to do a fair bit of M42 shooting with my Sigma cameras but since I reluctantly moved to Canon cameras haven't done any with those (but still do on my IR'd Sigma SD10)
Zenitar 16mm Fisheye - excellent value SWA and I've taken some great shots with it
Sigma 400 - cheap as chips and might've been better to stick a chip on the front of the camera - but still fun to use and learned how to manual focus on BIFs!
Sigma 70-150 macro - never really got to grips with it (but not true macro anyway!). The 105 took over!
Pentax 50mm - everyone said "get a 50 as it'll be ever so useful" - still waiting for the usefulness to kick in! Always used my 105 in preference
Been playing with the idea of getting a Peleng 8mm Fisheye - dyxum review as I know I'll have a lot of fun with it, it's much cheaper than other 8mm lenses and maybe I'll even get an OK pic or two! Anyone have any thoughts?
If it moves, snap it - and if it doesn't move, well, snap it twice just in case it does move!

And if your 50mm has manual aperture, be good for macro on cheap tubes

I use a 135mm 2.8 and 50mm 1.8 M42s with adapter, i also occasionally use Pentax manual lenses with EOS adapters.
The perfect photograph has never been captured but I will chase this elusive dream even if it takes me 1/60 sec.

Cheers! I really should dig out the M42s, find myself an adapter and give 'em a whirl on the Canons. Having said that, do the Canons read the light correctly? My Sigmas will read the light and give the shutter speed according to how I manually set the aperture
And yes, I've only got M42s that have the aperture ring (didn't seem much point in getting a lens without!)

I use all sorts of M42. Can't remember the last time I used a modern lens really.
