    Heart shaped wedding group

Been asked to take a group shot of all the guests at a wedding arranged into a heart shape. I can shoot from a 2nd story window and there is plenty of space for the guests any suggestions on how to organise this so I can take the shot quickly (I do have a second shooter who is good at moving people around).
The next photo will be the one which makes me famous.

That sounds tricky! Would it work to lay out a very large tape for the shape, corral all the guests in, then remove the tape?

You would need quite a few people to get a reasonable shape wouldn't you. You really need a rent a mob to allow you to have a practice run - I was going to suggest a load of school kids would enjoy helping, but these days it's too complicated photographing kids.

Does sound very tricky - even from a 2nd floor window the differing heights of the guests will throw the shape out of whack

Perhaps the best way would be to do it by numbers:-

    2 space space 2
    7
    5
    4
    3
    2

I say an assistant, or two, by radio. You stay up in the window and the assistant(s) follow your direction. I would also put the bride and groom on either side of the "dip" point at the top of the heart. That way they are sort of in the centre and stand out more.
I cannot deny anything that I did not say.

Thanks for the replies everybody and some good suggestions there. I think that I might be adding all the suggestions together - work out the best way with numbers, mark it on the ground and use my second shooter plus a couple of sheep dogs to keep everybody herded in the centre
