I do like hte PP on it
A few months back I posted on the forum with a example of style a that I really liked. It was a mixture of a certain type of lighting mixed with quite a bit of post.
I just couldn't get it right then and gave up. However I had a free day today and got my ever unwilling brother to step in for half an hour to play around with some lighting and got some shots.
A little while later I got onto photoshop and eventually I've achieved almost the look I was hoping for!
Now I know the photo isn't perfect, his left arm looks amputated etc but the PP is almost exactly the way I wanted it.
Slightly over sharpened but that's just due to a few print tests I was making.
Put through ACR twice, brief skin clear and smooth in PS and then a hell of a lot of colour tweaking etc both in a further RAW layer and plenty of adjustment layers.

This monitor makes the second one look far too blue.
I like it, looks very good to me. I have seen very similar pp work from a couple of people and I really like this style, nicely done!
