Kylesku - its a bonnie wee place (did your folks holiday there when the ferry was up and running, theres a bridge now), we holiday in Assynt every year its just that bit further north and more remote but well worth it if you ask me!

They started going over 20 years ago , but I have no idea if it was a bridge or ferry . Since my mom passed and the husband of the other couple who went with them nobody from here has been back , which is a shame . My Mom loved the place always saying how warm it was (they used to go end of October ). So hopefully the weather will play ball for me as well if I decide on Kylesku .
Glencoe also looks very appealing and the views seem tremendous !

Shane, I've been waiting for some free time to travel up through Rannock Moor, Glen Coe and on to Skye, by my reckoning a week spent wild camping ought to realise as many opportunities as the weather allows (my wife wants the wild camping to be dropped in favour of a nice motor home but that's another story). It's definitely one on my bucket list anyway!

Considering where I live I don't think a 9 mile drive from here would be much of a holiday !
