    Hi,

I've got a 1DX set up with a Pocketwizard plus III to remotely trigger a 430EX II Speedlite.

The first Pocketwizard is attached to the hotshoe of the 1DX. The other Pocketwizard is connected to the 430EX II with a 3.5mm to hotshoe adapter.

The camera takes a picture and fires the flash but it doesn't seem to be in sync. There's no light in the photo coming from the flash - just ambient light.

Settings on the camera are 100th of a second so it shouldn't be a problem that the shutter is too fast.

Do I have any other settings on the camera / flash set up wrong?

    Thanks

    Hi Roger!

I've figured out that if I use HSR (High Speed Receive) on the Pocketwizards the flash is in sync and works everytime.
